Why does water flow from the safety valve after it has seated, at the test opening pressure of the pressure vessel safety valve? The reseat pressure is lower than the launch pressure; it’s indicated on the label. The low reseat pressure results in poor sealing and thus leakage ； Impurities in the fluid cause the valve opening to not close properly, resulting in leaks ； The valve disc opens and closes repeatedly, and the presence of impurities in the medium causes damage to the valve disc/valve orifice ； All of these will cause the valve to close inadequately and lead to leaks. For safety valves with frequent operation, care should be taken not to overload them, as this is detrimental to safety. (For reference)
