As the title suggests, the blast furnace is operating at reduced capacity and there are many gas users; as a result, the pressure in the main blast furnace gas pipeline in the basement is often below 1 KPa, which causes the pressure in the branch pipelines to drop below 500. In such a situation, should heating be stopped? Is it feasible to use the manually controlled coking number Coke method, and what are the issues involved, such as safety and economic aspects? Is there a better solution?
In a short period of time, the pressure in the branch pipe is maintained by reducing the flow rate at the mature furnace, thereby ensuring normal heating; once the pressure in the main pipe returns to normal, the flow rate is gradually increased. This approach is used only for short-term emergency handling, in order to avoid stopping heating or carrying out replacement processes due to pressure fluctuations. If it cannot be maintained, heating must be stopped. A minimum branch pipe pressure of 500 Pascals should be maintained; if it is determined that the blast furnace gas pressure may continue to drop, it is advisable to stop heating
Since the branch pipe pressure is below 500 Pascals, it is better to stop heating first
Extend the coking time, lower the standard temperature, close all blast furnace valves to 45%, and increase the pressure in the branch pipes. Or reduce the control panel settings
When the pressure in the branch pipe is below 500 Pa, heating must be stopped. If there are two furnaces, one should be turned off while the other continues to heat; the two furnaces alternate in heating every half hour. Make sure to adjust the suction properly.
