It involves detailing each step of the task for every individual valve to create a task sheet, after which the operator carries out the operations according to those steps and signs to confirm it. So some people say it’s good, while others claim it fixes the operators’ mindset... Let’s discuss the pros and cons!

To ensure safety, it is necessary to introduce “standard procedure work cards”. It will ensure the standardization of operations and production safety. Of course, is the “standard procedure card” formulated in a flawless and perfect manner? This is definitely impossible. During implementation, operators can propose modification suggestions to the relevant departments based on their experience. The relevant departments should promptly adopt reasonable suggestions to improve them. However, before making any modifications, the operators must not violate the operating procedures without permission.
It is very important to follow standard procedures. I heard a workshop supervisor say that giving employees too much freedom leads to more problems, while setting strict rules reduces such issues.
