It is sent directly to the dechlorination process; after dechlorination, it is either converted into salt or discharged directly, and it is generally not absorbed.

Based on the conditions in our plant, a level control valve is installed at the outlet of the chlorinated water from the chlorine scrubber tower. When the liquid level exceeds the set value, the chlorinated water is sent to the electrolytic anode liquid discharge tank; after being heated, it is fed into the dechlorination system for dechlorination. Finally, it returns to the primary brine along with the fresh brine to undergo further processing, thus enabling reuse and saving resources while also being environmentally friendly.
The more common approach is to recover it through pipes into a storage tank, and then pump it into the dechlorination pipeline where it enters the dechlorination tower together with the brine coming out of the tank, so that chlorine can be removed; the chlorine and the brine are recovered separately. The chlorine goes into the main chlorine pipeline, while the water returns to the primary brine for reuse
