Is a large number of rupture disks required in the polysilicon industry? On what specific devices will it be used? Is the medium inside silicon powder? Is it also necessary to prevent dust explosions?
Polysilicon is not currently used very often with rupture disks, but depending on the medium involved, it is recommended to install rupture disks in front of certain safety valves. From what we have observed on site, since the sealing performance of these safety valves is not excellent, some chlorosilanes leak and undergo hydrolysis at the valve core to form silicon dioxide; over time, this can block the valve openings and cause the safety valves to fail.
I agree with what was said above; in polysilicon production, safety valves are used on silane storage tanks, hydrogen tankers, and various other tanks, while pressure control valves are used in reactors to relieve pressure
Given the poor sealing performance of safety valves, rupture disks are required in the polysilicon industry for hydrogen chloride synthesis, trichlorosilane synthesis, and exhaust gas recovery.
