I remember that part-time moderators are generally not appointed on forums, but I often see such situations: some people serve as part-time moderators for a few months, then stop doing so; when their role is removed, another part-time moderator takes over. I’m not sure what the reason for this is
A moderator within a section can be from any sub-section! There doesn’t seem to be any across editions anymore!
I think the so-called part-time moderators should be within a larger forum section, such as the Equipment Section, the Technology Section, or the Foreign Languages Section, rather than not being allowed to serve as part-time moderators in several sub-sections under a larger section

In fact, many emerging technologies today are developed on the basis of interdisciplinary sciences. Just like in our forum, being an administrator of one forum section doesn’t prevent you from visiting other sections as well. Therefore, there’s no need to be too strict about things like prohibiting scoring across different sections or preventing people from becoming administrators in different regions.
