The medium being pumped contains 30%-40% ammonium chloride; pumps made of metallic materials or non-metallic materials have their respective advantages and disadvantages. What materials are used for such pumps? I would appreciate it if you could share your experience in using them. Thank you.
If the pressure is not high, it’s best to use a plastic tube! Other metal pipes suffer severe corrosion under 30%-40% chloride conditions!
Attention should also be paid to lubricating oil, as gases have a strong corrosive effect.
