The upper valve cover of the control valve is located between the actuator and the valve body; its function is to ensure that the packing in the packing box operates properly within a certain temperature range, thereby maintaining the sealing performance. It comes in three common configurations: (1) Standard type: The operating temperature range is –20 to +200 degrees Celsius for cast iron℃； Cast steel –40 to +250℃ ； (2) Heat-dissipating type: Operating temperature range: carbon steel –40 to +450℃ ； Stainless steel – 60 to +450℃ ； (3) Long-neck type: Operating temperature range: –60～+200°C. Heat-dissipating types generally use polytetrafluoroethylene fillers. When flexible graphite packing is used, since it can operate directly at temperatures below 600°C, a standard type of upper valve cover can also be employed in high-temperature applications. For applications involving toxic, volatile, or valuable fluid media, it is designed with a bellows seal to prevent leaks. It isolates the valve medium on the inside of the bellows, thereby reducing external leaks. :lol
