Can the accident tank for clean wastewater be shared with the company’s accident liquid storage tank? What are the similarities and differences between these two types of tanks?
It can be applied generally; typically, when companies calculate the volume of their accident containment tanks, they do so using a combined approach. In chemical plants, the term \"clean wastewater\" usually refers to water used for fire fighting. The volume of the accident tank should include the total volume of all fluids that may flow outside the plant boundaries; this typically includes the amount of water used for firefighting during the duration of the accident, liquids that may spill from the equipment involved in the accident, residual liquids in the pipelines and facilities used to transport fluids, and rainfall during the accident.
Is the volume of the accident containment tank equivalent to the leakage volume from the storage tanks for flammable liquids within the plant (i.e., flammable and combustible liquids of categories A, B, and C)? An accident tank refers to the amount of water required for firefighting in an accident scenario, including water for flushing, rainwater, as well as the solution contained in pipes and tanks ?
