Dry coke quenching In order to recover the sensible heat of red coke, reduce energy consumption, reduce pollution, and improve coke quality, this project decided to use dry coke quenching. a) Dry coke quenching process: The coke tank car filled with red coke is pulled by a dry coke quenching electric locomotive to the bottom of the lifting derrick. The elevator lifts the coke pot and sends it to the top of the dry quenching furnace, and the coke is loaded into the dry quenching furnace through a loading device with a distributor. In the dry quenching furnace, coke and inert gas directly exchange heat, and the coke is cooled to an average of about 205°C, unloaded to the belt conveyor through the coke discharge device, and then sent to the coke processing system. The circulating fan blows the inert gas that cools the coke into the dry quenching furnace from the gas supply device at the bottom of the dry quenching furnace, and exchanges heat with the red-hot coke in countercurrent. The temperature of the thermal cycle gas discharged from the dry quenching furnace is about 900 to 980°C. After dust removal by the primary dust collector, it enters the dry quenching boiler for heat exchange, and the temperature drops to 160 to 180°C. The cold cycle gas from the boiler is dusted by the secondary dust collector, pressurized by the circulating fan, and then cooled to about 130°C by the heat pipe heat exchanger before entering the dry quenching furnace for recycling. The coke powder separated from the primary and secondary dust collectors is collected in the storage tank by special conveying equipment for external transportation. The smoke and dust generated in the coke loading, coke discharge, pre-storage room emission, and post-fan emission of the CDQ device all enter the dust removal system of the CDQ ground station, and are dispersed after dust removal. b) Basic process parameters of dry coke quenching device: The dry quenching station is equipped with 4 sets of JNG86-1 type dry quenching devices. The maximum processing capacity of each dry quenching device is 125t/h. The dry quenching time is about 2h. The maintenance system of the coke oven is allowed to be no more than 1.5h each time. The operating time of each hole of the carbonization chamber is about 10min. The coke temperature entering the dry quenching oven is 950~1050℃. The average coke temperature after dry quenching is about 205℃. The dry quenching station operating system is 24h continuous, 365d/a. The operation system of CDQ furnace is 24 hours continuous, 340d/a. The annual maintenance time of CDQ furnace is 25d/a.
