How widespread is the use of FF instruments in China? How many times is its price compared to that of ordinary instruments? How many times that of a HART instrument? What parameters or variables can mainly be sent upward? I’m a beginner in instrumentation, so my questions might not be quite appropriate; please forgive me.

A few days ago I checked Emerson’s website; the Rosemount 3051 also comes in several models, with a specific FF version of the 3051 available.

Let me answer the original poster’s question here. Taking ROSEMOUNT as an example, the 3051CD transmitter with FF bus is about 2,000–3,000 RMB more expensive than those with HART protocol; this is mainly due to the addition of PID processing functions as well as the LINK ACTIVE function
