I would like to ask if the scale factor of the heat transfer coefficient in the PRO/II simulated heat exchanger is due to the different correction factors of the inner and outer diameters of the heat exchange tubes? What role does it play? Is the scale factor of the pressure drop part a friction factor? What is drop/unit? I didn’t understand it from the help description. Can you help me solve it? Thanks
The PROII simulated heat exchanger is the scale factor of the heat transfer coefficient. Is it a correction factor due to the different inner and outer diameters of the heat exchange tubes? It should be like this. If there are enhanced heat transfer units outside and inside the heat exchanger tubes, enter the corresponding coefficients here. I looked at the translation of these coefficients, and they all seem to have a correction effect. As for how to correct it, it should be based on experimental values or actual values.
The 2nd floor is right: I read the translation of these coefficients, and they seem to be used for correction. PRO II is not absolutely sure of the two DP (pressure drop) calculations provided. I think it is more reliable to directly import it into a special heat exchanger and calculate it. Now the software is integrated with the equipment software. It is very convenient.
