I’ve been looking at PID charts recently and am a bit confused; I would appreciate some guidance from everyone. Install instruments on-site; install instruments after the site is ready; install instruments on racks or after they are in place. What situations do they refer to respectively, and how is it installed? . What does \"disk-packed\" mean? . Thank you. Also, what does a flexible connection for instrument pipelines refer to? Installing instruments on-site means placing instruments such as pressure gauges inside the panel at the location; they do not transmit signals or enable interlocking, and are used solely for on-site monitoring. The panel is what is referred to as a dashboard. Installing instruments behind the panel, mounting them, or installing them behind the panel all mean the same thing: they are all installed on-site. The flexible connections for instrument pipelines probably refer to the use of hoses at the points where they connect to the equipment.
In what situations is an on-site dashboard used? Is it usually built into the equipment itself?
