Our utility systems are ready for commissioning soon. It’s estimated that another 40 days or so are needed, as some documents are still missing. I would appreciate some guidance on the precautions for commissioning in terms of circulating water, demineralized water, and air compressor stations! I have never been involved in the commissioning of utility systems before; I have only worked on hydrogen chloride, electrolysis, hydrochloric acid, and primary brine processes. Circulating water and demineralized water systems are generally turnkey projects, with the manufacturer responsible for design, manufacturing, and also conducting commissioning. For the air compression system, it is operated according to the parameters and specifications provided by the design institute: first on a single unit basis, then in a linked mode, and finally in full operation. Unfortunately, I don’t have detailed information either. Finally, wish you success with your driving.
It’s estimated that even if there is data, it was fabricated by themselves and is incomplete. There’s no need to talk about single-unit testing, as the equipment manufacturer is usually present. Joint commissioning: 1. For the circulating water system, this is used only to check for any leaks in the pipes (if membrane formation is not to be carried out, chemicals should be added for that purpose; the manufacturer will provide guidance on this, so there should be no major issues. Make sure that all heat exchangers are opened at this stage). Additionally, at the beginning, all heat exchangers should be connected via bypasses to remove as much sediment as possible from the pipelines; methods such as draining from the lowest point can be used for this purpose. I’ll decide whether to use air cooling or wait until the system is in operation to verify it… 2. Pure water: Pay attention to pipeline scouring, and analyze the quality of the pure water at the far end in advance. It shouldn’t contain sediment, right… 3. Commissioning of the circulating water system: First, the motor of the circulating water pump should be tested to ensure its proper operation. It is also necessary to check that the circulating water pathways in all relevant sections are unobstructed. During commissioning, the circulating water should not be sent to the heat exchanger yet; the department that uses the heat exchanger should be informed to install a bypass. At this stage, the returned circulating water should also not be directed to the cooling tower, in order to prevent debris from the pipes from ending up in the filler of the cooling tower; Process: Single-unit trial run → Water replenishment to the circulation tank → System circulation (during this phase, increase the amount of water added and the amount of wastewater discharged) → Once the entire system is connected → Cleaning and pre-coating (this can be carried out by a manufacturer that supplies chemicals for circulation water) ; Testing of the desalinated water system: First, the system should already be tuned up; for users, the main task is to blow out any debris from the external piping network ; The commissioning of the air compressor station system is roughly similar to that of the demineralized water system
