Our company currently has an expansion project. The project requires the use of methanol, and the company has designed a storage capacity of 2 tons for methanol. Does this project require a safety assessment?
The original project was for safety assessment, so a re-assessment is required for the renovation.
Upon reevaluation, anything over 2 tons is considered a major hazard source.

Our renovation and expansion project involves the use of hazardous chemicals (methanol, with a storage capacity of 2 tons), and the entire facility is still in the pilot stage.
