As the title suggests, the formation of salt and alkali during processes such as saltwater treatment, electrolysis, and evaporation is inevitable. Leaving it unaddressed results in a messy workspace, but there aren’t really any good solutions for dealing with it. I would like to ask everyone: do you have any good methods or experiences? Fix leaks by replacing gaskets or welding, then rinse thoroughly with water.
Detect it early and deal with it promptly; address each occurrence as it arises, and ensure that the treatment is thorough. This is my experience and approach. Crystals become extremely hard over time, making them difficult to handle, while it’s much easier to deal with them at the initial stage. Therefore, acting early is the best solution. In places where salt accumulates, it’s not a big problem – just wrap it with a clamp; if there is any leakage, place a bucket underneath, and then clean it regularly. In areas where limes have formed, do not touch them if they have already settled; areas under pressure must not be disturbed either, as this will only cause more leakage. Welding can only be done during maintenance work.
First is to optimize the material and structure of the pipeline. Minimize the possibility of leaks. Improve leak-repairing facilities and enhance relevant technologies, such as the use of drainage adhesives, to address leaks as they occur.

Perhaps it’s to first use a tube to divert the liquid away, and then seal the end of the tube after the treatment is completed, right? Hehe, we’ve done this before, but it was on the blind plate of the secondary steam system. Salt packets are generally left untreated to avoid unnecessary complications. Alkalis need to be handled as needed. It essentially involves diverting it first, and then pouring resin over it. Cure.
I see, but these only work for areas with significant leakage. Do anyone have any good experiences to share regarding how to deal with areas that are leaking or suffering from seepage?
No matter how small the leak is, it’s difficult to seal such holes under pressure using methods like bonding or electrodeposition; therefore, it’s necessary to first divert the leaking fluid, and once the surrounding area is stabilized, then seal the drainage opening.
