Lubrication is the key to moving equipment. Good lubrication will definitely get twice the result with half the effort. Many equipment accidents I have experienced have been related to lubrication: For example, the lubricating oil system of a centrifugal compressor in a device always gave false alarms because of the pressure interlock, so the interlock was removed. As a result, an operator mistakenly stopped the lubrication system and then the compressor, causing the bearing bush to burn out. ； The operator changed the oil in the gearbox of a high-speed pump (>10,000r/min). After the change, the oil drain hole plug at the bottom was not tightened, and the inspection did not notice the oil leakage. As a result, the bearings and bearing seats were burned. In addition, generally small centrifugal fans must be greased regularly, but not too much, otherwise it will affect the heat dissipation of the bearings. 2. The key to static equipment is inspection, whether it is a pressure vessel or a pressure pipe, the most fearful thing is over-temperature, over-pressure and wall thickness reduction. There are many reasons for thinning here, including corrosion and washing, so regular inspections must be done. 3. Spare parts must be sufficient and the inventory situation must be known. To be honest, it doesn't matter if the equipment breaks down. In the worst case, it can be repaired by stopping the machine. But without spare parts, the whole family will be dumbfounded. Especially for imported spare parts with a long order cycle, you must prepare at least one set. If you don’t want to prepare them because they are too expensive and have a low chance of damage, you should know whether there is a domestic spare parts manufacturer that can replace them—even if they can only be used for 2 or 3 months and can wait until the genuine spare parts arrive—or whether there is equipment of the same model in China that you can borrow. In short, the issue of spare parts is very important! 4. Pay attention to statistics, records, and analysis. Once you fall down multiple times in the same place (I dare not say twice, because everyone who works on equipment knows that it is not easy to avoid repeating mistakes), no matter how difficult it is to solve, you must find a way to solve it completely.
