How should the depentane tower in the gas separation unit be adjusted in a reasonable manner?

No matter how we adjust Tower 5 of our gas purification unit, the carbon-5 content in the rubber product at the top of the tower always remains above the specified limit (above 1%). Meanwhile, our superiors require that this carbon-5 content be kept strictly under 1%. I don’t understand why this is happening; carbon-4 and carbon-5 should be easy to separate from each other. So what exactly is the problem? Is there any wise person who can offer me guidance? Our operating parameters are: bottom temperature of 50–55 degrees, top pressure of 0.35–0.40 MPa, feed rate of 3 tons, reflux rate of 4–5 tons (which seems a bit high), 45 trays in total, with the feed inlet located at the 20th tray.

Adjusting the top pressure and bottom temperature of the tower should make it possible to control it.
