I used to work in the phosphatic ammonium industry. I am familiar with commonly used turntables and rotary drum filters; I know a lot about these two types as well. It’s time to start the calcium feeding project now. There is a strange question: why is the phosphatic ammonium industry made up of many turntables and rotating platforms? Meanwhile, the calcium feeding industry is basically belt-type. I’ve never used a belt-type one; now I’m very cautious about belt types. It just seems that the investment required for belt-type systems is much lower than that for turntables and rotary tables. The process flow and civil engineering are also simple. But what about its other aspects? What are the defects? What are the typical conversion rates and washing rates? I hope those who have used it can let me know. Thank you. I also want to know that recently our company plans to use the half-aqueous process for producing wet phosphoric acid, and a belt filter has been chosen for this purpose. I’m really curious about how efficient this equipment is. Lift up.
I have no experience with rotary tables or rotary disk filters, but belt filters have many advantages, such as: 1. Continuous operation, with continuous feeding and continuous discharging; 2. Multi-stage counter-current washing can be achieved, with the washing liquid flowing in a counter-direction continuously from the cake discharge end to the feed end, resulting in very low consumption of washing liquid ; 3. The feed is uniform, resulting in a uniform distribution of the filter cake, which optimizes the washing effect ; 3. The production volume is relatively flexible; it can be adjusted by changing the moving speed of the filter cloth.
Our company uses bag filters for wet phosphoric acid processing; due to their large number of moving parts, they require frequent maintenance and have low production capacity – the production capacity per unit area is only 60% that of disk filters
These turntable types are the same as those rotary types as well. Also, could you tell me? What is the typical washing efficiency of the belt-type machines at your factory? For turntables and disc-type units, we generally achieve around 97%
Dizzy. So the yield is low. I heard that the production volume of belt types is higher than that of turntables, right? Could you tell me what the typical load for a belt type is? That is, what is the production intensity. Also, which manufacturer’s belt do you people usually use, and what is the quality of their service?
