1. How is the slag after the reaction discharged, through pressure or with some kind of valve?
First, remove the furnace tray and get rid of the debris on it.
Nitrogen is used to purge the slag out.
HCL gas enters from the bottom, so there shouldn’t be much slag deposition at the bottom; most of the slag should end up in the cyclone separator and bag filter at the top. If there is indeed slag deposition at the bottom, it can be blown away using the nitrogen pipeline at the bottom.
That makes sense; it’s better to increase the flow rate and pressure to blow the silica slag into the subsequent system. Do not also inspect the reactor. . . Trouble. !
I agree with the view from the fourth floor. The cyclones and bag filters used later will produce silica slag, which can be collected and treated together. In the synthesis furnace, routine cleaning is usually sufficient during maintenance
