In a coking plant with an annual output of 800,000 tons, the coke oven gas must be transported 750 meters to produce methanol externally. Should a separator be installed along this 750-meter route? The pipeline is DN1000.
Separator---what does it mean? Does it mean water seal?

Everyone is interested in producing methanol from coke oven gas, and so am I, but now the economic crisis has made it difficult to do so.
I think such a long pipeline must have a heating pipe, otherwise it will easily get clogged in cold weather. A separator should be installed, otherwise the condensed water will block the pipeline and cause poor air supply. Originally, the coke oven gas pressure was not high.
