What is the difference between the materials of PE and PA microporous filters?

The manufacturer usually mentions \"ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE/PA)\\", stating that there are differences in terms of temperature resistance and acid/alcohol resistance. However, after consulting a friend, I was told that PA is not actually high-molecular-weight polyethylene at all, but rather a polypropylene material; I’m a bit confused. Could someone please give me some guidance? Thank you! Also: Are PA filter rods black, while PE filter rods are white?
PE is polyethylene, and PA is polyamide. When it comes to filter rods, I personally think PA is the better choice! For filter rods, in addition to filtration precision, there is also the issue of filtration efficiency, with PA achieving 99%!
