Does a double-flange design use a diaphragm along with a separating fluid to measure pressure? Doesn’t the flange require an isolation fluid, with the pressure pipe simply filled with the medium? Is my understanding correct? Please give me some advice!
Double-flange capillary remote level transmitters are primarily used for measuring the level in sealed containers, while flange differential pressure level transmitters are mainly used for measuring the level in open or atmospheric-pressure containers. The secondary pressure chamber of a flange differential pressure level transmitter is connected to the atmosphere, whereas the positive pressure side is in contact with the medium. As I understand it, a double-flange differential pressure transmitter is a double-flange differential transmitter equipped with a capillary, and it is generally referred to as a remote-transmission double-flange differential pressure transmitter. The single-flange differential transducer comes in two types: those with capillaries and those that are in direct contact with the medium. A single-flange differential transmitter with capillaries is generally referred to as a remote-transmission single-flange differential transmitter.
The double-flange capillary remote level transmitter is primarily used for measuring the level in sealed containers, offering high measurement accuracy that is not affected by changes in pressure in the space above the container.
