May I ask: 1. What is a BR1-class pressure vessel? ? 2. Do you know the components of the pulse tank used in air compressors? Does it belong to the third category of pressure vessels? 3. 1. B1 is a seamless gas cylinder. 2. It’s a buffer tank – how can it be classified as category 3? Generally, they fall into categories 1 or 2; only high-pressure compressors are classified as category 3. 3. This type of tank is the simplest to manufacture; anyone can do it. But generally, factories aren’t interested in producing such simple tanks; companies like Shenjiang produce them in bulk

BR1 was the original classification code for pressure vessels, corresponding to today’s B1 class pressure vessels (i.e., seamless gas cylinders)
The pulse tank you mentioned for use with compressors – by your description, it refers to small piston machines. Larger screw compressors don’t come equipped with a buffer tank built into them; instead, the user has to provide one separately. The purpose of a buffer tank is to stabilize the pressure and flow rate at the compressor’s output, and it also serves as a storage unit. As for the manufacturers, I’m not sure; I know of a factory in Fengxian, similar to Shenjiang I think

Regarding the issue of BR1, after doing some research, my answer is as follows: BR1 was the original standard (applicable to boiler pressure vessels), corresponding to today’s D1 and D2 standards. As for pulse tanks, I think soulblack is the correct choice; I just don’t know if manufacturers like Shenjiang are capable of producing them. I hope someone who knows the answer can help me... 1. BR1 was the previous classification system for the license levels regarding pressure vessel manufacturing, as follows: BR1, Class 1 pressure vessels; Category II low and medium pressure vessels. The DR grade corresponds to gas cylinders, where DR1 refers to seamless gas cylinders. 2. When the design pressure is 10 MPa or greater, it belongs to category three ; When the design pressure is greater than or equal to 1.6a and less than 10 MPa, it is classified as category II ; When it is greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa and less than 1.6 MPa, it belongs to category one. The pulse tank should be a buffer tank.
