Is it okay to choose Q235A as the skirt material for high tower pressure vessels?
The connection part between the skirt shell and the tower body is generally provided with a transition section, which is consistent with the material of the tower shell. It is best to choose a material with higher strength for the bottom.
According to the provisions of JB4710, the skirt material is selected according to the pressure component
Personally I don't think it is possible. The material of the skirt should be based on the requirements of the pressure components. Q235-A cannot be selected. And the connection point with the cylinder should be made of the same material as the cylinder.
