Please tell me about the form and function of the balancing container on the boiler drum.
Water level measurement can be digitally controlled
The balance container is equivalent to a differential pressure controller connected to a pressure transmitter. The pressure can be displayed on the DCS or operating platform.
Single room, double room; Express the drum (container) liquid level in terms of pressure difference
The double-chamber balance vessel is used in conjunction with a water level indicator or a differential pressure transmitter to monitor the drum water level during the boiler startup, shutdown and normal operation, and output a differential pressure signal when the water level changes to ensure the safe operation of the boiler. The double-chamber balancing vessel is composed of tubes, elbows, water cups, funnels, etc. Since the saturated steam heats the tubes and elbows at the same time, the positive pressure compensates for the weight of the water in the tube. In any case, it is approximately equal to the weight of the corresponding drum pressure saturated water. At the same time, due to the correct selection of the height of the positive pressure compensation pipe, no matter how the pressure inside the steam drum changes, the pressure of the positive pressure compensation pipe and the pressure change of the negative pressure pipe are equal. Therefore, the pressure difference produced by balancing the vessel does not change. The water level indicated by the low-end water level gauge also remains unchanged. In addition, since the balance container leads to an equal section, the temperature of the water in the negative pressure pipe is not affected by the changes in the drum press and room temperature, but their changes are equal, so they have no impact on the pressure difference generated by the balance container.
