How does everyone understand this sentence? The Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation (KNPC) awarded Chevron Lummus Global (CLG) the world’s largest residue hydrotreater complex to be built anywhere in the world. I understand that KNPC gave CLG the task of constructing the world’s largest residue hydroprocessing unit in any location around the world. It definitely can’t be right. How should it be translated?
KNPC awarded CLG the task of building the largest residue hydrocracking reactor complex in the world. It’s not that they can be built anywhere in the world.
KNPC has awarded CLG the task of constructing the world’s largest residue hydrogenation reactor (anywhere in the world); the text in parentheses can be omitted as it serves as redundant wording
