My workshop has a lubricating oil hydrogenation refining unit as well as a transformer oil refining system, with a processing capacity of 22 T/H. High-pressure separator, φ1800×6800, tangential feeding; its location is 5200 mm above the tank bottom, the oil outlet is 1500 mm above the tank bottom. The upper end of the collector is 1700 mm above the tank bottom while the lower end is 600 mm above the tank bottom; the water outlet is located at the tank bottom. It is initially suspected that it may be due to an insufficient residence time for oil-water separation, but I’m not sure how to calculate it; please help!
