We’ve never encountered a situation of liquid interruption; we’re only discussing leaks (Woody): 1. Local stretching of the membrane causes the cell’s housing to break down, leading to leakage; 2. The flange between the probe of the discharge pipe and the bellows is damaged, causing leakage ; 3. Defects exist in the welds of the electrolyzer tank, resulting in perforation and leakage after use (a low-probability event) ; 4. After membrane leakage, alkali corrodes the anode, causing leakage.
Both the moderators and superusers have replied; it’s our turn as regular members! :lol :lol 1、Additional reasons for cell leakage: a、The newly installed gaskets had not fully dried out (due to the adhesive), and the cell’s temperature rose too quickly, causing the gaskets to be squeezed out. b. The gaskets of the battery cell connection hoses have aged, resulting in a reduced sealing performance, and they were not replaced in a timely manner. c. The valve gasket connecting the electrolytic cell is aged or has issues with its installation. d. The cell pressure is too high, exceeding its capacity (usually caused by a fault in the pressure gauge). 2. Reasons for fluid depletion in the cell: a. The circulating fluid contains impurities; the anode consists of a yellowish-white mixture of chlorides, residues from gaskets, and resin, while the cathode is made up of gasket residues and corrosion products from substandard materials used in the pipes. b. The inlet hose is severely deformed. c. The gasket of the inlet hose is severely deformed
Causes of electrolyte leakage: 1. The hose gaskets are not properly installed or are missing. 2. The gaskets in the cell tank are not installed as required; the quality of these gaskets is poor, or they have exceeded their service life. 3. The cell tank is deformed. 4. The oil pressure is unstable. 5. The pressure difference is unstable. Causes of electrolyte leakage: 1. Poor installation of gaskets. 2. Uneven sealing surfaces of the electrolyzer. 3. Broken hoses. 4. Aging of gaskets. 5. Insufficient oil pressure. Last edited by yzhms on 2009-3-17 21:55]
