Protection issues in distribution rooms

Our facility’s power distribution room contains two transformers and low-voltage incoming and outgoing line capacitor compensation cabinets. During an inspection by the higher authorities, it was found that these facilities did not meet the standards; they were required to have bird-proof mesh on their windows and barriers to prevent small animals from entering at the doors. But I’ve never seen it installed in other units; please give me some advice. If anyone has it installed, it would be great if they could share a picture. . . . It’s ridiculous that we installed an iron plate at the door that acts like a threshold; when entering, one has to lift their legs to get in, and sometimes one even trips accidentally. . .
First of all, what the higher authorities require is correct. The doors and windows of the distribution room should be closed tightly ； Holes and ventilation openings that lead to the outside should be equipped with mesh covers to prevent small animals such as rats and snakes from entering, and their protection level should not be lower than IP3X as specified in the \"Classification of Protection Degrees for Enclosures\" (GB4208－84). Ventilation openings that are in direct contact with the outdoors should also be equipped with measures to prevent rain and snow from entering.
A mouse-proof barrier is required at the entrance of the power distribution room, about half a meter high! We have them in all our distribution rooms. If the window is to be opened, bird-proof mesh must be installed.
This is generally necessary; the door guards aren’t there just for show either. There are a whole set of requirements for the power distribution room – it’s no joke

The power distribution room is required to meet the requirements of five protections and one ventilation: protection against small animals, water, fire, rain, and snow, as well as maintaining good ventilation.
This standard contains relevant provisions; according to our rules, the mesh size of the openings must not be larger than 30 mesh. Doors leading into the building must be equipped with rodent barriers. Cable trenches and cable trays entering the building also need to be treated appropriately – cable trenches should be filled with sand, while cable trays should be padded to prevent animals from getting inside
