The magnetic flap level gauge is installed on the outside of a large storage tank. If you need to use several wires one after another, how long is one section usually?
Do not exceed 1700mm. If it exceeds 1700mm, you can use 2 units.
It is best to be around 1.5 meters. If it exceeds 1.5 meters, use two sections.
If it is for on-site indication of liquid level in a large storage tank, you must first look at the accuracy requirements you require, and select a magnetic flap level gauge with a length within the measurement range within the accuracy range. If it is relatively high, generally one section is limited to 5 meters. It is best to use two meters for measurement if it exceeds 5 meters (I have also seen manufacturers producing 6 meters, but I personally think 5 meters is the best). We have installed two 6-meter magnetic flaps. When installing, I think it should not exceed two, otherwise it will be very troublesome to install. Moreover, when the flaps are messy, you need to use a magnet to smooth them from top to bottom.
I have used Kopler's 5 meter and 7 section. If it is a 6 meter tank, it is best to use two 3 meter sections. If the magnetic replica is too long, it will easily deform after being used for a long time, and the reading will be inaccurate.
Others upstairs have given the answer, 3 to 5 meters. It is also worth noting that there must be a certain overlap between the two paragraphs.
One of the storage tanks is 11 meters, and the other is 12 meters. I originally wanted to use 5 meters and 6 meters, and use two sections. However, I consulted the manufacturer and said that 6 meters might be too long and would be inconvenient for loading and transportation, so I switched to three sections. The 11-meter tank uses 4 meters, 4 meters, and 3 meters.; Use three 4-meter tanks for a 12-meter tank. I would like to ask everyone, is it better to use the original 2 sections, or divide it into 3 sections?
3 paragraphs is good. If it is too long, the measurement will be inaccurate after being used for a long time. It is best to install it in sections. Someone mentioned it above, you can refer to it!
“What does “certain overlap” mean?
If you can use 2 sections, it is better not to use 3 sections. Generally, the length should not exceed 6m. The more openings on the tank, the more leakage points.
