In other words, free water must not be introduced into the catalyst to avoid its temporary inactivation. However, it’s not cyclic drying that is needed to fill with benzene; rather, a cycle of dry benzene should be used. (That’s how the process works.) This post was last edited by beileim1 on 2009-2-26 07:54.]
What was said upstairs is correct; free water molecules should be prevented from entering the catalyst to avoid its temporary deactivation. Benzene must be dried through recycling before it can be fed into the reactor. (Remove the free water molecules from benzene)
