As the title suggests: I would like to ask fellow sailors, does anyone know what material hydraulic cylinders capable of withstanding a load of 100 kilograms are made of, and where they can be purchased?
The pressure isn’t very high; ordinary Q235 can be used to adjust the thickness. Refer to the hydraulic section of the [Mechanical Design Manual].
Seamless thick-walled pipes can meet the requirements
A hydraulic cylinder with a load capacity of 100 kilograms is not considered high-pressure, so it should be easy to find.
By 100 kilograms you mentioned, do you mean a hydraulic pressure of 100 kilograms per square centimeter? Since the pressure is not high, precision cold-drawn seamless steel pipes grade 45 can be used.
