How is the shaft power of a polymerization reactor calculated? Now I want to calculate the shaft power of the polymerization reactor. How should I design this calculation? The chemical process design manual provides too general information; there are some conditions that aren’t clear. Is there a better way? Thank you! The formula for calculating shaft power is quite simple; the issue is determining the power code for the blade, but what is that power code? It is related to the type and blade viscosity. There is also the specific gravity of the material.
