Who has GB8923.1-2008 \"Surface treatment of steel substrates before coating application – Visual assessment of surface cleanliness – Part 1: Corrosion grades and treatment grades\"? Needed urgently!
It seems that there is no 2008 version of GB8923.1 \"Surface treatment of steel materials prior to coating application – Visual assessment of surface cleanliness – Part 1: Rust grade and treatment grade\"; only GB8923.2 has a 2008 version. GB8923.1-1988 remains in force. If you need it, feel free to contact me.
Has this standard been updated or not? It doesn’t seem to be available online.
GB 8923-88 – Visual assessment of surface cleanliness for surface treatment of steel before coating application, Part 1； GB/T8923.2-2008 is its second part ； GB/T8923.3-2009 is its third part, and all of them are currently valid.

GB/T8923.1-2008 does not exist; the original GB8923-88 was replaced by GB/T8923.1-2011, which came into effect on October 1, 2012. To date, GB8923-88 has not been repealed. The entire set of standards is: GB/T8923.1-2011, GB/T8923.2-2008, GB/T8923.3-2009. The time span involved can be quite large – interesting, right?
I’m also looking for GB/T8923.1-2011, but it can’t be found on any website.
