Coke oven temperature adjustment-------------- This is done to maximize the production capacity of the coke oven and achieve optimal thermal efficiency. Temperature regulation is divided into three stages: at the beginning of operation, there are significant fluctuations in furnace temperature, and the main task in this phase is to ensure that the temperatures in all the combustion chambers remain balanced, by adjusting those chambers whose temperatures are either too high or too low. Once the coking time shortens to the designed value, the actual temperature regulation phase begins. At this stage, based on the uniform coking of the coke cake in both the vertical and horizontal directions as well as the achievement of a core temperature of 950–1050°C, the temperature and pressure of the entire furnace heating system are adjusted to establish a reasonable heating regime that can be maintained stable. Thereafter, it enters a phase of regular temperature adjustment, during which the corresponding heating regime is adjusted in a timely manner according to changes in factors such as the coal used, the heating gas, and weather conditions, thereby ensuring that the coke cake matures uniformly in both the vertical and horizontal directions within the specified coking time.

To achieve proper control over the oven’s temperature, it is necessary to have a good understanding of various factors, such as the heating regime of the oven, records of coke pushing, the condition of the oven itself, the operation of gas-related equipment, the calorific value of the heating gas, the coal blending ratio, the moisture content of the coal used, atmospheric temperature, wind direction, and weather conditions. The impact of these variable factors on temperature can vary greatly. Therefore, those responsible for adjusting the oven’s temperature must be meticulous in their work. They need to pay close attention to controllable factors such as the heating regime, gas equipment, and coke pushing schedules, to ensure that no mistakes occur; Regarding some uncontrollable factors such as atmospheric temperature, wind direction, and weather changes, these can be monitored through meteorological data or manual observation and analysis. If significant changes are likely to occur, the heating system must be adjusted in advance to ensure that temperatures do not change too much.
