Why are anti-choke lines added in stages one, two, and three of the chiller? Personally, I think it’s unnecessary to include it in paragraph one as well as in paragraphs two and three ； There are no coolers between sections in our factory. This post was last edited by lxzzl on 2009-2-26 16:06.]
The installation of anti-surge lines between the stages of a centrifugal compressor is primarily intended to prevent surge in a particular stage and to protect the compressor; it has little to do with whether coolers are installed between the stages.
Surge is a special phenomenon that occurs when a centrifugal compressor is operating abnormally. The basic measures to prevent surge can be summarized in two aspects: one is to try to increase the flow rate of the compressor itself when the flow rate in the compressor’s inlet network drops too much, that is, by opening the anti-surge valve, thereby ensuring that the compressor operates at a flow rate higher than the surge threshold ； On the other hand, it is necessary to adjust the pressure changes in the piping network so that they correspond to the pressure rise ratio of the compressor, and this ratio must not exceed that under surge conditions.
But it seems that if one segment of traffic is guaranteed, the following segments should be fine! ? I’m a bit confused; please advise
