In high-speed centrifugal pumps, increasing the outlet size raises the pressure while decreasing it lowers the pressure

For our P-1 pump (multi-stage high-speed centrifugal pump) used for urea hydrolysis, the outlet valve is kept at a certain degree of opening when the pump is started or stopped. Today, it was accidentally observed that the pressure increases when the outlet is opened after startup, while the pressure decreases when the outlet valve is closed. What could be the reason for this? ?
We have also encountered the same problem (it was a valve issue); replacing the valve resolved it.
Does this pump have multiple lines and an opening degree? Otherwise, this situation wouldn’t occur; the outlet pressure gauge should be placed before the outlet valve. Last edited by Fan Zhou Wu Hu on 2009-2-26 17:16.]
Check to see if the valve stem is damaged, or if something mechanical is stuck inside
