Regarding the name of CDI

I have read many documents on polysilicon, and many manufacturers refer to exhaust gas recovery systems as CDI. In my opinion, this term is incorrect; CDI is the name of a company in the United States that specializes in exhaust gas recovery. They only handle the design aspect, without manufacturing or installing the actual equipment, nor do they carry out any debugging work. Therefore, using CDI as a term is inappropriate. It would be better to use VGR, or simply call it exhaust gas recovery or dry recovery in Chinese. Calling it CDI all the time is like giving free advertising to that company
CDI was indeed designed by the American company CDI. It is most famous for dry recovery methods, and these methods originated from their company; that’s why the dry recovery system was named after their company, hence the name CDI. I’m not sure if this is correct

The quality of the drawings produced by CDI doesn’t seem that good either; there are many small errors and misleading expressions. We shouldn’t blindly believe that foreigners are necessarily better than us. Of course, it might be related to their large volume of work – with tight deadlines, how can one guarantee no minor mistakes?
Don’t even get me started – China’s design institutes are even worse... There are mistakes everywhere, and the layout of many pipelines isn’t very reasonable; there’s likely a big gap between the drawings and the actual construction
