In the process of synthesizing vinyl chloride from acetylene and hydrogen chloride, the tubular reactor is divided into three sections for circulating water heat exchange. Is the temperature of the circulating water exiting each section of the reactor the same? If two are connected in series, will the water temperature coming out of the two reactors be the same? :handshake
Theoretically, they are all different; it depends on the intensity of the reaction
Some reactions occur intensely on the new catalyst, while reactions take place in the middle and lower parts of the converter with the old catalyst; therefore, the temperatures should be different.
The temperatures of the two issues mentioned by the original poster should be different!
