I am a university student majoring in Nuclear Engineering and Nuclear Technology. I am currently working on a design project titled \"Design and Performance Evaluation of High-Efficiency Water-Water Heat Exchangers\". I’ve read a lot of materials now, but I still don’t know how to carry out this design. Please help me out – things like the design process for heat exchangers, design methods, calculation methods, and so on. Thank you!
The design process should be as follows: determination of process parameters – process calculation – structural design – strength calculation – preparation of design documents. Design method: in accordance with the standards applicable to the respective equipment. The calculation method is the same as the design method.
Based on the operating conditions, heat transfer design is carried out first, followed by structural design, and finally it is checked whether the heat transfer area meets the initial assumptions.
