I would like to ask what R1 means in 13MnNiMoNbR1 What material is SA203GrE? Which country’s standard is it?
I’m not quite clear about the first question. Regarding the second question: SA203GrE is a nickel alloy steel plate used for pressure vessels; it possesses excellent low-temperature impact toughness and mechanical properties, and is typically used in low-temperature environments ranging from -70 to -101°C (the quenched and tempered state allows use down to -107°C). It is widely used in cryogenic separation processes, air separation, and liquefied gas storage. In recent years, such materials have been extensively employed in the manufacture of low-temperature equipment such as CO2 absorption towers, H2S absorption towers, H2S concentration towers, and methanol washing towers in domestic coal chemical projects. Chemical composition (%) of SA203GrE: C% 0.2~0.23, Mn% 0.7~0.8, Si% 0.13~0.45, Ni% 3.18~3.82. Mechanical properties: Yield strength 275 Mpa. SA203GrE complies with the American ASME standards.
R1 denotes a Mo content of approximately 0.5% (for reference)
It should be 13MnNiMoNbR, right? R simply stands for steel used for containers
The 13MnNiMoNbR steel plates comply with the GB713-2008 standard; the ‘1’ at the end is not present. Please verify the material specification on the drawing again – what was said on the fourth floor is correct.
