To save money, I borrowed a set of textbooks from 2006 (the ones published by the exam committee, four books in total). I’m not sure if that’s okay; will there be significant differences?
I bought the 2006 edition of the textbook last year; I purchased it early on, and later the 2008 edition was released. Overall, it was fine, but the requirements outlined in the exam syllabi become stricter each year, with constant changes. Fortunately, I managed to pass all the exams. You can take a look at it for now, and check if there’s a new edition when it’s time to register, but it should at least be the 2008 edition, as the 2006 edition is often incomplete.
The 2006 edition of the textbook is generally acceptable. You can take a look first; the main content remains unchanged, but pay special attention to the additions and deletions. I recommend registering for all four courses at once (that’s what I did as well). Although the examination period is two years, the content of the four books is closely related to each other; it’s better to finish taking all the exams in one year, so as to avoid having to review the books related to the subjects already taken when taking the remaining exams in the second year (especially for case analysis, which covers knowledge from all three other subjects). Pay attention to new laws and regulations. I’m not sure if there are any changes to the outline this year. It is customary that, as long as the textbooks remain unchanged, newly enacted laws and regulations do not cover the revised parts (such as the \"Decision of the State Council on Amending the Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment\"). I have the lecture notes and assignment materials from the online school (which I paid for myself); if the administrator agrees to upload them, I’ll put them on the forum. Make sure to download and check them out – that way you won’t need to buy books at all.
Hey, the guy on the 4th floor – where can I find the corresponding video? Thanks a lot!
Reply to 1# luoye: Friend, everything has changed this year; it’s absolutely not possible. Several people in our department took the exam last year, and only those who passed will be able to take it again this year. The textbooks have all been changed.
