The evaporation process in our company's chlor-alkali production uses a three-effect four-body process to produce 45% liquid alkali. A forced circulation pump, model CPE450, with a flow rate of 3,000 cubic meters, a lift of 4 meters, and a motor of 75KW is installed on the concentrated effect evaporator. During the production process, it was found that the motor current changes every 2-5 minutes, from about 100A to 54A, which affects the production efficiency of the automatic alkali output. It is very strange. I have been thinking for a long time whether there is a periodic cavitation phenomenon. Please give me some advice!
It may be that there is periodic cavitation phenomenon. At the same time, observe the following changes in external supply volume to determine it.
The function of the pump is to circulate the material liquid in the body, with very little entry and exit. The liquid level on the pump changes by about 20 centimeters.

There may be several reasons. During the use of our pump, the current often changes, but the change is not big. If it is periodic, it may be caused by periodic cavitation, or it may be caused by changes in the flow rate of the process! It needs to be judged based on the on-site situation!
What can cause periodic cavitation? My concentration changes by 20 grams per liter, and the temperature changes by about 4 degrees Celsius.
