I’m seeking help: Does anyone have a process flow diagram for the purification of furfural from catalytic oil slurry? Please share it if you have one. Thank you
I don’t have it here, but I’m very curious about your process. The oil slurry is used to extract heavy aromatics by removing furfural; where do the refined oil and the extracted oil go? Anqing Petrochemical has this process. Flowcharts are not difficult, but industrialized flowcharts are complex; ask netizens from Anqing Petrochemical. The residue oil is sent for catalytic treatment, while the extractive oil is rich in aromatics and can be used as a raw material in the chemical industry; this was the topic of my thesis back then, haha. If coking is being carried out, there is no need for extraction; the oil slurry can be sent directly to the coking unit

It can all be used as coking feedstock, or it can be sold as high-aromatic oil
