Seeking advice on the blue color of diamino phosphorothioate

During my experiments with bis(glyphosate), I used the iminodiacetonitrile route; generally, white bis(glyphosate) is obtained, but occasionally light blue bis(glyphosate) appears as well. This can be seen right at the beginning of the addition of phosphorus trichloride, and I’m not sure why this happens. I wonder if anyone else has encountered a similar situation.
Thank you. After doing some research, I found that IDA forms a blue complex when it comes into contact with copper ions. I consulted the manufacturer of iminodiacetonitrile, and they said that there is no chance of exposure to copper during the production process; could other metal ions form complexes as well?
Does adding activated carbon for filtration not work either? We have been using diacetonitrile in production for almost two years now, and this phenomenon has never occurred before! The diacetic acid produced from diethanolamine is blue, whereas glyphosate is white; this is mainly due to the presence of copper ions in the catalyst.
I would like to ask if there is a process for bisphenol phosphate
