Why is that? As we all know, temperatures are low at night and high during the day, and this has a certain impact! However, this has little impact on the other towers; only the temperatures of these two towers change significantly. At night, the temperature at various points within the regeneration tower drops to around -4 degrees, while during the day it rises to around 10 degrees. Meanwhile, its pressure remains stable at around 0.14 megapascals! The temperature at various points within the methanol-water separation tower drops to around -2 degrees at night and rises to around 2 degrees during the day, while the pressure remains stable at 0.03 megapascals! It goes without saying that it’s hot during the day and cold at night; that’s the reason I’m mentioning it. But I need to talk about the factors related to the equipment as well. What is important in the low-temperature methanol washing process? That’s why the insulation of towers in the cold zone is better, while it isn’t necessary to have such good insulation for towers in the hot zone. First, it helps to save costs; second, there’s no real need for it. If the insulation is too good, it reduces the range of adjustments available for the chillers, thereby increasing the load. In the hot zone, the steam temperature can be controlled effectively, and the range of adjustments is also large. I hope those with more experience can tell me if what I said is correct
Judging from the temperature in the hot zone, it has cooled down to room temperature; the change with temperature should be normal. The temperature in the cold zone is low; I estimate it’s currently much lower than the lowest outdoor temperature at night. As mentioned on the second floor, the cold zone provides good insulation, so the temperature rises more slowly. However, it has not yet reached the lowest outdoor temperature. I think its temperature will keep rising, with a faster increase during the day and a slower one at night. Once the temperature in the cold zone reaches a level similar to that in the hot zone, it should experience similar fluctuations throughout the day and night, but the range of these fluctuations will definitely be much smaller than in the hot zone.
