The management thinks you are very capable at work, but they don’t give you the authority needed; when tasks can’t be completed, they turn to you instead of the person in charge, which is frustrating. The tasks assigned to you never have a clear definition – they’re often arbitrary. Moreover, the work I do isn’t entirely under my control, so I have the desire to do it but lack the means to do so. It’s not outright criticism, but it does carry an element of condemnation. Last edited by yingjun.z on 2009-2-27 09:08.]
Agreed! I completely agree. However, talking to your supervisor doesn’t necessarily solve the problem; unless you’re determined to leave, things will always remain unclear and ambiguous. Leaving isn’t wise either – you’ll have to find another job, and who knows what kind of boss you’ll encounter next. It depends on oneself; one must learn to protect themselves. Put simply, it means knowing how to shift responsibility to others. Don’t think you have the ability to take on every task – just do your own duties well!
When assigning tasks, the boss can gently remind him that it should be the responsibility of the xx department, and that he shouldn’t take on too many tasks, especially those beyond his capabilities
I think this can help improve your skills, haha. If you manage to complete the tasks assigned by your supervisors well, you will gradually see the benefits. Of course, don’t do someone else’s job – this needs to be discussed clearly with the boss!
When the leader assigns tasks, make things clear to him regarding what rights are needed; otherwise, it will be impossible to complete the task……
For work-related matters, it’s necessary to communicate frequently with the manager: handshake – is there a missing character in the poster’s post? It should be: Should I talk to my boss, or just leave without talking?:lol
Hold on a little longer; maybe things will get better in some time. I used to feel the same as you did, but it’s better now: lol
Of course, there may be issues with the company’s mechanisms, but it is also necessary to analyze one’s own working style and principles. In fact, no matter where you are, you cannot change the environment around you; instead, you need to adapt to it in order to have the chance to showcase your talents. In domestic companies, it’s not just about being able to do tasks; it’s more about knowing how to behave as a person. In fact, I think I’m talented and want to get involved in everything and take charge of it. But since no one is perfect, the success of any task depends on many factors, not just one person’s talent or determination. It’s important to consider things carefully and learn to say no. To work in a company and do things well, a team is necessary; the era of heroism is over. The original poster should keep it up!
It’s better to talk; it helps to build a connection
In situations like this, it’s really necessary to have a proper talk with the manager, so as to be able to contribute more effectively to the company. By sharing one’s doubts, the manager, having been new to work themselves, will understand and might be able to offer good advice.
Yes, yes, haha, thank you for the correction. Thank you all for your suggestions and opinions.
There’s no need to talk any further; the boss is clearly trying to make things difficult for you and force you to leave. You already realize it; you just don’t have the courage to take the step.
Gold will always shine; keep going and don’t give up halfway. Since your leader values you, there will come a day when you will stand out.
I feel the same way; it’s often very difficult. Although doing more or less makes a difference, sometimes I think of it as a form of learning*.
I completely agree! ! Leaders are probably like that. But no matter what, as long as you work hard and have a clear conscience, that’s enough!
In fact, most companies are like this these days. I don’t know which company it was originally; after all, it was the management who bore all the mistakes and negative consequences. I witnessed that company’s rapid history of development there. After changing companies due to family reasons, I realized that I had no say in decisions and had to take on all the responsibilities; only then did I understand that my former manager was actually quite good. Now I understand why that company could function in such a chaotic manner yet still grow so rapidly. Corporate culture determines a company’s potential for growth.
You should talk to your supervisor; even if you end up resigning, he will understand your abilities and why you want to leave. Although sometimes no explanation is needed, matters related to one’s future should still be taken seriously
Whether you decide to leave or stay, you should talk to your supervisor; communication is very important
Communication is the most important thing; since your leader values you, there will come a day when you can stand out
