Hello everyone. I am a master’s graduate with a degree in mechatronic engineering. I have been working at a company that specializes in the manufacture of pressure vessels, and now the company wants to obtain the qualification for designing such vessels; I just finished my master’s studies as well. I want to learn this; I’ve also gathered some knowledge on it, but I’m not sure what the outcome will be if I pursue this career Also, is it possible for me to obtain a pressure vessel inspection certificate with my major?
You need to have an engineer’s certificate in mechanical engineering, right? I don’t have one, so I can’t take the exam:lol
The future of this industry is bright; the key is to have confidence! A master’s graduate in mechatronic engineering – great! I also worked at a pressure vessel manufacturing company; what talent! There’s no problem in obtaining the pressure vessel inspection certificate! But don’t get too happy just yet; you first need to work at a qualified design firm for at least 6 years (3 years in design and 3 years in review), after which you can apply to the provincial quality supervision agency (or **) from within that firm. Only by completing professional training and passing the relevant exams can you obtain the design review certificate you’ve been dreaming of. After that, go back to the manufacturing plant and help them obtain the design certificate. I wonder if you’re satisfied with my answer? Patience!
A certain number of reviewers are required when renewing the certificate
Once you have an intermediate professional title in mechanical engineering, you can take the certification exam
It is a mandatory requirement for obtaining the certification; those with a degree in this field or those who have been working in this industry for over ten years may be able to pass
It’s unlikely to obtain a pressure vessel design approval certificate without actual design experience! !
It should be that there is a requirement regarding the number of years of experience working in the design field before one can take the exam.
