Extraction of water glass slag

I have a factory that produces water glass, which is stored in tanks with a capacity of 200 M3. During storage, a large amount of water glass sludge settles at the bottom of these tanks. We have sludge removal ports installed around the edges and in the middle of the tanks, and sludge is removed on a regular basis; it is then filtered and recovered using plate and frame filters. However, due to the poor flowability of the sludge, only a small portion of it can be removed through these ports, which means that the tanks need to be cleaned every month. As the sludge settles over time and becomes quite compact, a large amount of water is required to flush it out. I hope there is a good method for slag removal, so that the slag can be completely removed. Requesting a friend's help, thank you
The sodium silicate liquid contains flocculent masses and fine particles suspended in it, which reduces its transparency. Our factory uses plate and frame filters for purification, but the transparency does not improve significantly. We hope that those with experience can offer some guidance; thank you

It’s been a long time. If you’re able to read this now, I’m not sure if you’ll see it; I hope someone else will. I wonder if you’ve already used perlite for pre-coating. If not, you can add perlite as a filter – about 30 kilograms should suffice
